Milani: Everyday Eyes Eyeshadow Collection Review

Well Hello My loves!

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve had a new post up on here! Since my last post which you can check out here I went on a vacation to Disney World and while I was there Nick proposed! Obviously, I said yes! Don’t worry I will have a post up at some point about the entire trip and the proposal!

Today I want to talk about the Milani: Everyday Eyes eyeshadow collection! There are six palettes in the collection but I am only talking about the first five today. The 6th palette was a very colorful palette that would not be suitable for everyday wear.

By now I’m sure you have seen these in stores and have asked yourself “Do I need this?”. Well I’m here to answer that question.

Covergirl: Trunaked Palettes in Nudes, Goldens and Roses Review

Hello Lovelies!! Welcome back!

Today I have a review for you on the Covergirl: Trunaked Palettes. There are three of palettes: Nudes, Goldens, and Roses. I’m sure you have seen then floating around your local drugstore.

The packaging claims that the shades are like a leading $50.00 eye shadow palette (any guesses which one? Cough cough Urban Decay Naked Palettes Cough)

So if your curious about these palettes then keep reading!

Tarte: Rainforest of the Sea-Water Foundation Review

Hello lovelies!!

It’s been forever since I’ve had a review for you! Over the past couple of weeks, I have been trying out the Tarte: Rainforest of the Sea- Water Foundation in Fair-Light-Neutral.

Maybelline: Master Contour & L'Oreal Infallible Pro- Contour Palette Review

Hello my lovelies!!

Today I have a review on two contour palettes from the drugstore! Anyone else notice that the drugstore is really picking up their game lately! Over the past couple weeks my makeup routine has consisted mostly of drugstore products!

I’m going to talk about the Maybelline: Master Contour Kit and L’oreal: Infallible Pro-Contour Palette

Let’s do this!!!

New At the Drugstore: Foundations

Hello my lovelies!

Welcome back! Today I have some drugstore foundations that I have be LOVING; Revlon: Colorstay 2-in-1 Compact, L’Oreal: True Match Lumi Chushion, and Maybelline: Dream Velvet.

By now I’m sure you have heard about them or at least seen them in the stores. For the past couple of weeks these three foundations are the only ones I have been wearing!

All three are going to be best for combination skin, two are going to work for oily skin types and one will work with dry (also depending on what floats your boat)

So let’s break these beauties down!

LOC: Tati Collaboration Review

Hey All Welcome Back!!

So today I want to talk about the Birchbox exclusive LOC (Love of Color) line. LOC collaborated with Tati from glamlifeguru to create 5 shadow sticks and 3 lippie sticks. If you don’t follow her on YouTube you should, she is amazing just like these shadows and lippies!

I got my first taste of the line in my November Box Showdown which I chose the editor box that Tati curated. I bought the rest of the line and it lived up to all my expectations. Every single time I wear one of the shadows I am complimented on it.

There are several different bundles you can order from the Birchbox site. Obviously, I ordered the bundle that included all of the shadows and lippies. It also came with a Sharpener. If you just want one color they have that option as well!

So let’s get swatching!

FabFitFun Winter Box Review/Unboxing

Hello All and Welcome back!

First, let me start by saying I'm sorry that there was no new blog last week but with it being Christmas I wanted to take the time to spend it with loved ones I don't get to see regularly. I hope you understand and had a wonderful Christmas as well!!

So for today I have my review/unboxing for my Winter FabFitFun box! This box is shipped every season and this is my second one. If you missed my Fall box review you can check it out here.

Like last time I am going to follow how the catalog lists them! (I took a sneak peak at a few things and I am SUPER EXCITED!)

Let's get started!

e.l.f. Spotlight Ready Palette: Review

 Hey all!!

So today I have a review for you! I recently picked up this e.l.f. Spotlight Ready Palette on a whim. I paid $15 bucks for 50 colors. 40 eyeshadows and 10 blushes/bronzers.

Maybelline: Lip Gloss Palette Review

Hey all!!! Welcome back!

Today I have a quick review for you on the new Maybelline Lip Gloss Palette.

Now I'm not a huge fan of lip gloss but this palette has won me over! There are 8 shades from a  nude pink to a dark red brown.

Sally Hansen: Miracle Gel Review

Hey All!!

Today I have a review on Sally Hansen: Miracle Gel Nail Polish.

This nail polish is AMAZING. When I would use other nail polishes they would chip within two days of painting them... sometimes within hours. With these I can go about 11 days with no chips and by two weeks there are some chips but not the type where half the coat is gone and you look like you've been trying to dig a hole with your hands.

Revlon Ultra HD: Matte Lipsticks Review

Hey all!!!!

Welcome back! So today I have a review of the new Revlon Ultra HD: Matte Lipsticks. These six colors were NOT easy to find. I had to go to four different stores to get all six but I have to say they are worth it!

Eyeko: London Mascara: Lengthen & Straighten Review

Hey all!!

Today I have a review of Eyeko London Mascara: Lengthen & Straighten. I received this mascara in a Birchbox a couple months ago. I was very excited to see it in there because I love me a good Mascara. This one is priced at $28.00.

My First Impressions: aka thoughts I had while opening it

"This is in a tube... that's different."

"OH LOOK!! A Guitar pick! Wait why did they send me a guitar pick?"

"OHHHHHHH just kidding it's an eye shield to prevent smudges... Now how do I hold it?"

"Well this is just awkward."

Let's just say there is no easy way to hold the guitar pick I mean eye shield and apply the mascara. Mainly because the brush is GINORMOUS. The picture above does not do it justice. The eye shield may protect your eye but it does not protect your fingers holding it.

I feel at this point it is kind of obvious that I did not have a good experience with this mascara so I'll just say I strongly disliked it... for several reasons.

1. The brush size- it is just too big.

2. The formulation is sticky. I had to keep separating my eyelashes the entire time I had it on.

3. It gets EVERY WHERE when you go to take it off. It clumps up in little balls and gets in places you never wanted mascara to be. It went up my nose! How does that even happen!

4. I was not overly wowed once it was on. It didn't make my eyelashes look longer or straight. (not sure why anyone would want straight lashes to begin with but to each their own)

I'm sorry if this is anyones holy grail but it just didn't cut it for me. This is also the only Eyeko mascara I have tried so maybe I just need to try another style.

One mascara that I do love for lengthening lashes is Loreal Voluminous False lashes and it's just the right price!

I hope you guys found this review useful and again I'm sorry if this is one of your must have's.

Thanks for reading and until next time!!!

FabFitFun Fall Box Review

Hey All!!! Welcome back to my blog!

Today I am going to talk about my fall box from FabFitFun. This is my first box that I have received from them. They deliver four boxes a year; one for each season. It is $49.99 for one box which is kind of pricey but if you follow FabFitFun on any social media they constantly have 10% and 20% codes for when you sign up. They advertise that the box is a $200 value.

So the first thing that caught my eye upon opening the box was their fall edition catalog which gives a description of everything in the box as well as a more in depth behind the scenes of certain products.

Just for organization purposes I am going to list off the products in the order that the catalog lists them.

1. Gold Radiance Luxury Facial Mask with Collagen and Rose Oil by Passport to Beauty

I have yet to try these masks out (it comes with two). I think I am going to save them for a pamper day. They are valued at $65

2.FabFitFun x Tappan Collective Umbrella
In case you are having trouble reading what the umbrella says it says Rain Rain Go Away! This umbrella is super cute and living in Ohio you can never have too many of them. This is valued at $32

3. Lucky Lip Stain by Manna Kadar Cosmetics
This is a very pretty color that says it is a 3-in-1 product. This means that it has primer, lip gloss, and lip stain all in it. This is valued at $24

4. 3D White Brilliance 2-Step System by Crest

This is a sponsored item in the box which is basically just a sample. It does not contribute to the overall value of the box.

5. Flawless Skin Fluid by Doctor D. Schwab
I have had the chance to try this and I love the way it has been making my skin feel smooth which out using harsh chemicals. It is a moisturizer that helps to balance and brighten the skin. This is valued at $39

6.Purple Purse Charm by Allstate Foundation Purple Purse

October is Domestic Violence Awareness month and this purple charm is to spread awareness. For more information on how you can help the cause go to purplepurse.com

There was no value on this item but it has found it's way on to my purse.

7. HISY Battery Pack

This item is your standard battery pack that is rechargeable and pairs with iPhone and other devices. My battery pack came in purple. This is valued at $24.99

8.Strength Tubing Ankle & Total Body Tone with Tubing: Lower Body & Core DVD by Merrithew

By the time I got to this item I was happy to find the one fitness based product in the box. One of the reasons why I chose to get this box was because of the fitness component. I have yet to try this out but I am looking forward to incorporating it into my fitness routine.

If anyone is interested I can do an update on what I think once I have used it a couple times. Just let me know in the comments section below.

These two items are priced at $33

9. Glass Crystal Bead Bracelet by Tribe Alive

Tribe Alive works with artisan partners all over the world to employ impoverished women by providing them with a sustainable income. Each bracelet was handcrafted by women in Honduras. There was an article about Tribe Alive in the catalog which I found to be very inspiring.

This bracelet is priced at $49

10. Gift Card by Jeweler's Wife

This gift card is good at www.REEDS.Com/Jewelerswife I haven't used it yet but I will certainly let everyone know when I do get something via Instagram and Twitter so go follow me if you haven't yet. Please and Thank you in advance. You're the bees knees

This gift card is valued at $15

11. Gift Card by Picture It On Canvas

I am excited about this gift card! I have been looking for a unique gift to give to my mom this Christmas and when I browsed the Picture It On Canvas website I knew this would be the best gift to give this holiday.

This gift card is valued at $75

Overall I was pretty impressed with this box and I can see myself using everything in it as well as sharing with my friends and family.

Oh and the total value of the box if you haven't been keeping track is..... (insert drum roll here) $357!!!! That is $157 more than what their website says!

I would have to say for $49.99 for this box I got a good deal (I honestly have no idea how they are making money if every season is like this)

Thanks for reading and if you want any updates on any of the above products just let me know below and I will certainly provide them!

Until next time :)
