e.l.f. Spotlight Ready Palette: Review

 Hey all!!

So today I have a review for you! I recently picked up this e.l.f. Spotlight Ready Palette on a whim. I paid $15 bucks for 50 colors. 40 eyeshadows and 10 blushes/bronzers. 


OMG you guys! The quality of these are AMAZING! I was so shocked at how pigmented and buttery the blushes and bronzers were. The eyeshadows were just as great and they were super easy to blend out.

Do you see how awesome these swatched! That is one swipe from my finger! My favorites are the metallic colors and the mattes. The glittery shadows aren't as pigmented as the others but they are still good if you pack them on. 

There is a little bit of fall out with a few colors (like 5, which out of 40 that is nothing).

So the swatches on my arm for the blush/bronzers are backwards starting on the far right closest to my wrist is the first color on the top row on the left and it goes across left to right well right to left on my arm... anyone else confused? #fail but the colors are gorgeous! The 1st color in the 2nd row is a beautiful bronzer for summer. It has gold specks in it that are perfect for that summer glow.

I do however have a love/hate relationship with the packaging. I love that the eyeshadows and blushes/bronzers are in separate palettes but I don't love that they are stacked on top of each other so you have to take one out to get to the one beneath. The container that it comes in has a huge mirror on the lid which is handy.

Overall, I think this palette is a great steal especially if you can find it on sale (my local meijers had it on sale for $10.00 vs $15.00).
