LOC: Tati Collaboration Review

Hey All Welcome Back!!

So today I want to talk about the Birchbox exclusive LOC (Love of Color) line. LOC collaborated with Tati from glamlifeguru to create 5 shadow sticks and 3 lippie sticks. If you don’t follow her on YouTube you should, she is amazing just like these shadows and lippies!

I got my first taste of the line in my November Box Showdown which I chose the editor box that Tati curated. I bought the rest of the line and it lived up to all my expectations. Every single time I wear one of the shadows I am complimented on it.

There are several different bundles you can order from the Birchbox site. Obviously, I ordered the bundle that included all of the shadows and lippies. It also came with a Sharpener. If you just want one color they have that option as well!

So let’s get swatching!

On Point

On point is a one & done shadow stick. It is a pale gold that is creamy and opaque. I love this color for an everyday look!

Impress me

Impress me is a one & done shadow stick! It is a beautiful rose gold and my favorite. I highly recommend this color if you are only going to get one. This is the one color that I have received most of the comments for. I already got a backup for my backup in this color

Nite Owl

Nite owl is a shadow that is perfect for a nighttime glam look. (I see what you did there with the name Tati!) This is a beautiful maroon/purple with sparkles that are not overbearing. Perfect for a smoky eye.

Day Trip

Day trip is the shadow stick that I received in my Birchbox. It is a pure gold and my second favorite in this collection! Another must have in my opinion!

Smoke Screen

Smoke Screen is a very pretty grey that is perfect for a smoky eye (Tati did it again!) This shadow is gorgeous and I have nothing like it in my collection

So that’s it for all of the shadows. The one disclaimer I have with these are make sure you do one eye at a time as they set fairly quickly and become difficult to blend out once they set.

Now on to the three lippies!

First Kiss

First Kiss is a beautiful nude that is a perfect color for your first kiss! This is my go to nude lippie so if you are only going to get one lippie in this collection First Kiss would be my suggestion. It will be flattering on any skin tone.

Wildest Dreams

Wildest Dreams is a pure red. I wore this on Christmas eve this year! It is such a perfect color for the holidays! It is creamy and doesn’t dry your lips out!

Glam Life

Glam life is a very pretty berry color. I always find it difficult to find the perfect vampy berry color for my pale complexion but this lippie gives my life! It compliments my pale skin-tone perfectly without being like WOAH DARK LIP!

The one downside to these lippies that I have found is if I have any type of lip product on my lips before applying these they do not apply evenly at all.

So I recommend making sure your lips are bare before putting them on. They do not dry my lips out and I find them to be very creamy and almost nourishing.

Overall, I think Tati knocked these shadows and lippies out of the park. They are great quality and a definite must have for me.

Bad news though L according to Tati they are only here for a limited time so if you were planning on trying these out pick them up soon because once they are gone they aren’t coming back!
