It’s
that time again!!! It’s my BOX SHOOOOOOOWDOOOOWWNNNN! Last month I did
individual unboxing posts as voted by you lovelies on Twitter. So when this
month rolled around I let you guys decide again and it was pretty much
unanimous that you wanted to see a box showdown!
So
here it is! Just as a reminder I will “Unbox” my subscription boxes and at the
end pick a winner of which one I am looking forward to the most!

This is a pink glittery lip gloss. When I swatched it on the back of my hand
the glitter wasn’t overbearing; it actually gave it a very beautiful finish.

BYE UNDER EYE IN LIGHT:
When I found out this was going to be in my bag I was so excited. I’ve been
wanting to buy this for a while so I’m super pumped that I got a sample to try!

CIATE LONDON:
MINI PAINT POT NAIL POLISH IN SUNDAYS: This mini nail polish is a very pretty pinky nude
and I can’t wait to try it! According to Sephora’s website these mini’s sell
between $8.00 and $9.00.
TRESTIQUE: BABY
BLUSH STICK IN BORA BORA CORAL:
I LOVE getting Trestique in my Ipsy bag! I have not been disappointed by them
yet so I’m excited to try a new product from them! This blush is a very pretty
coral which will be perfect for spring and summer! This is a sample size which
looks like it sells for $9.99 while the full size sells for $34.00
CAKE BEAUTY:
HEAVY CREAM INTENSIVE HAND REPAIR BALM: This smells AMAZING!!! I couldn’t resist the
smell and tried it out! If you don’t like the smell of vanilla cake then you
won’t like this. Overall my first impression is that a little goes a long way.

Just as a heads up I chose the
box editor this month for Birchbox so this is the typical box that I would get!
OBSESSIVE
COMPULSIVE COSMETICS: LIP TAR IN STRUMPET: This sample is a very pretty
berry shade! I tried it out and you definitely need a brush of some time to
apply it perfectly. It does transfer but the color remains on your lips
throughout the day. The full size is $15.00
CYNTHIA ROWLEY
BEAUTY: BRIGHTENING ILLUMINATOR:
I have gotten this product from Birchbox before and I love to put it down first
and then apply a powder high light on top. This highlight works for all skin
tones and worn alone it gives a subtle pop. The full size is $28.00
WHISH: RENEWING
MUD MASK: I’m
determined to like something from this brand so hopefully this mud mask
fulfills that need. The full size of this retails for $44.00.
AMIKA: BOMBSHELL
BLOWOUT SPRAY:
Honey YAS!!! I have gotten this in a box before and I LOVE IT! This is perfect
for days when I straighten my hair but still want some texture to it! It is
lightweight and adds volume! Such a great product!!! The full size is $24.00
CATHERINE
MALANDRINO: ROMANCE DE PROVENCE: I’m not sure I like this scent too much. I was
blasted by it as soon as I opened my box and it has a very florally scent to
it. I will have to wear it to truly see if I like it or not depending on how it
reacts to my skin. The full size ranges between $65.00 - $110.00
BOXYCHARM
SPONGELLE:YOU
HAVE MY HEART ON A STRING: This sponge has two sides, one for exfoliating
and one for cleaning & toning. It can be used for (#) times. I have to say
this is super cute and I can’t wait to try it out! This is full size and
retails for $15.00
BEAUTY FOR REAL:
BLUSH + GLOW STICK:
I love the idea of a 2-in-1 blush/highlight. They are perfect for traveling but
unfortunately this combo is a little too dark for my pale skin at the moment.
So I may be passing this along to a friend. This duo retails at $24.00
SHRAY MS. AMAZING
FACIAL MASK:
I love a good sheet mask! This one is supposed to hydrate and moisturize. I can’t
wait to try this out! This is $12.00.
OFRA: BANANA
POWDER GODET:
I have heard great things about this banana powder so far! Swatching it it
feels very smooth! I love a good banana powder so I can’t wait to try this!
This full size retails for $12.00
FREEZE 24-7:
ANTI-AGING EYE SERUM:
Soooo this eye serum is retails for $58.00 and it’s a SAMPLE SIZE. This better
give me the under eyes of a new born baby for that cost! It says that it is
supposed to remove fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness. Obviously
I had to try this one out and honestly I don’t really see a huge difference in
the texture under my eyes. I still have puffiness and fine lines. My dark
circles are a little lighter but that could also be due to getting more sleep.
I will keep trying this sample out but as of right now it is not worth the
money.
AND

Birchbox!
I was
actually blown away with how great the boxes were this month which made it really
difficult to choose this month’s winner. The reason why Birchbox won despite
the possible weird smelling perfume was that I am excited about the other
products within!
