So I
know what you are thinking “Erica it’s February why are you posting about your
January Boxycharm?” Well when Boxycharm tweets you and says they want to see
your January unboxing it is REALLY hard to say no.
January’s
theme was “Eyes on 2016” more like “Eyes on Boxycharm”. I have to say this was
one of their best boxes that I have gotten. Four of my five favorite makeup
products were in this box; Mascara
✓ Eye Shadow ✓ Makeup Brushes ✓ Eye liner ✓ (lipstick is the 5th
one in case you were wondering)
Alright, let’s do this!
Blinc: Mascara
Amplified
I knew this item was going to be in the box this month (thanks Instagram!)
The mascara came in a screw top tub package which not gonna lie took me a hot
second to figure out how to open.
I’m excited to try this mascara since it coats your lashes in tiny tube,
hence why the package was a tube! This is full size and retails for $26.00.
Costal Scents:
Revealed Smoky
When I saw that there was a palette in this box I broke out in my happy
dance but it was cut short when I saw the brand. I have gotten a Costal Scents
eyeshadow palette in my Boxycharm before and I was extremely disappointed with
the quality of it.
I almost passed this bad boy up but the packaging is bomb and sparked my
curiosity. Honestly, I’m really impressed with the quality of the shadows! The
purples in this palette are to die for! As for the shimmery shadows I feel they
are more pigmented and buttery compared to the matte colors.
I will say not EVERY shadow is amazing. This palette comes with 20
shadows which I think offers a very nice variety for a smoky eye. I don’t think
this palette is worth $39.95 but I know Coastal Scents sometimes sells their
palettes for $19.99 which that is a steal if you can find it priced at that.
Royal & Langnickel
Brush Set [R]evolution
I LOVE getting makeup brushes! LOVE! But what I love more than getting
one brush in my Boxycharm is getting three! I got a detail, crease and smudger
which this set retails for $23.97. I can’t wait to mess around with these
brushes!
Starlooks: Luxe
Longwear Eye Liner Pen
I’ve never heard of this brand so I am excited to try it out! I’ve yet
to find a felt tipped liner that I like, fingers crossed this one steps up to
the plate! This is full size and retails for $19.00
This box was amazing and a great way to start the year off! I can’t wait
to see what the rest of the year has in store. One thing I know for sure though
is that my eyes are going to be on point whatever comes my way!

DeleteThanks for reading my post!! I ended up not liking the eyeliner pen :( wearing it by itself it was fine but when I tried to apply it on top of eyeshadow it was very heard to get a straight and dark line.

Thanks for this post. I use eyeliner pen and it is a great and easy way to apply eyeliner very fast and precise.
