Hey All!!
It's time for my November Box Showdown! Basically I will compare my Ipsy Glam Bag, Birchbox and Boxy Charm and pick the winner based on what I am most excited about. I will take in to consideration if I will actually use the products included in the boxes and give a mini review or first impression. Ipsy
INSPR Beauty: Carnival- So this is a beautiful shimmering lilacy nude. I want to say this is a full size product but I wasn't able to find it on INSPR's website. Their other eyeshadows are $13.00 for one color. This color blends very easily and the color payoff is great.
Smashbox: Full Exposure Mascara- This mascara is a sample size which is perfect for travel. The full size product is worth $20.00. I have actually tried this mascara before (it came in a Birchbox a few months ago). It's an alright mascara. I think it is comparable to Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black.
trèStiQue: Mini Matte Lip Crayon in Chile Red- The matte lippy is a pinky red. The formulation is very creamy. The full size of this product retails for $28.00. On their website you can purchase three of the mini's for $32 so it's about $10.60 for this mini (I only pay $10 for this bag). I am very excited about this lippy!
Jelly pong pong Cosmetics: Liquid Gossamer- This is a liquid luminizer. According to Jelly pong pong's site this is a full size product which retails for $22.95. This is a very pretty rose gold and I can't wait to try it out. From swatching it on my hand it blends out very easily.
Tucker Ashley: Perfecting Moisturizer- I believe that this is a sample size of the product since it is only 1 oz. and the full size is 3 oz. but this is a very big sample size. The full size retails for $19.95. There is no scent to this moisturizer which I like. I can't wait to try this product out.
Birchbox
For my Birchbox this month I opted to get the guest editors box versus my typical box picked out for me based on my preferences. The guest editor this month was Tati from Glam Life Guru. If you are not following her you should!
Avène: Hydrance Optimale Hydrating Serum- The full size of this retails for $36. I have been looking for a good serum so I am very excited to try this out.
Living Proof:Perfect Hair Day (PhD) Dry Shampoo- I have heard great things about this dry shampoo and I am really excited to try this out. The sample that come in the box is considered a deluxe sample. The full size retails for $22.00.
Jouer: Lip Enhancer- The full size of this product retails for $16.00. I already have a lip treatment that I really enjoy but this is slowly on it's way to becoming a favorite. It leaves my lips feeling silky smooth!
Shiseido:ULTIMUNE EYE Power Infusing Eye Concentrate- I have only used this sample twice so far right before I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning I have ZERO under eye baggage. I am loving this product I am just not loving that it is $65.00 for the full size. Good thing a little goes a long way!
LOC: One and Done Shadow Stick in Day Trip- This eye-shadow stick was created by Tati and I absolutely LOVE it. This is a full size product which retails for $10.00. I will be having a review soon of the entire line (she created several more shadows and 3 lipsticks)
BoxyCharm
Luxie: Rose Gold Concealer Eye Brush 211- I always love a good brush in a monthly subscription box. This brush is $12.00 and it is pretty dense. Honestly I haven't been using it as a concealer brush. I love using it for my glittery shadows to pack it on my lid.
pūr~lisse: Pur~Eye Adore Quadra Benefit Eye Serum- This eye serum works against wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness. This product is full size and retails for $65.00. Holy Moly! We have gotten this line before in previous boxes and I loved it. So hopefully this serum lives up to my expectations.
Coolway: Leave-in Treatment- There wasn't a lot of information about this but from what I can gather it is to help hydrate and add shine to your hair. This retails for $19.95
Studiomakeup: Soft Blend Blush Sahara SBB-02- OMG this blush is super gorgeous. It is long wearing and the only blush I have been using since I got it. It is $17.00.
Manna Kadar: Liplocked Priming Gloss Stain in Lucky- So if this sounds familiar it's because it is. This is my THIRD time I have received this product in this specific color. I first got it in my Fall FabFItFun Box and then a sample size in my October Birchbox. It is a GREAT product that retails for $24.00 and I LOVE the square packaging versus the round. My only issue is that I wish I had gotten a different color to try out since this lip stain is really good.

IPSY!
This month it was really hard to choose between them all but ultimately I have been using more products out of my Ipsy bag.
